about

I went through a stark change of pace in life throughout the writing and recording of these songs and I'm sure without my band mates/best friends I would not be the same person I am today, this is a reflection of my emotions throughout the highlights and the lowlights during these times and it's brought to life only with the help of Vincent Comanda, Evan James Smith and Ryan Wickham, thank you everyone for the support and thank you for always for listening! - Nick O'keefe

Track Name: Stay
So your exits are all closed
You're tired from going nowhere

When the weight of your invoulentary heartbeat keeps you down
And the feelings you leave when you sleep always come right back around

I think I just need some time off from this
Not sure if its me or november
I keep collecting all the thoughts in my head
Every word you said

Stay
leave me out and
Stay
Keep me out and
Stay
Leave me out and
Stay
Keep me out and

Lost for words and lost with no direction
Answering only to lose your attention
A fixed point in the changing growing space
language spoken aross the emotion of your face

Stay
Leave me out and
Stay
Keep me out and
Stay
Leave me out and
Stay
Keep me out and
Track Name: Distance
Tell me whats there too believe in
Whats the point when all im hearing
Is down and depressed

Bring me back to days that I love
Warm yourself in the light above
Its nicer in the sun

I know its hard to believe in
That what we suffer can bring us
Closer and closer till we touch

Colliding in the sky above
Send me letters in your name
Until I see your face again

Under the pressure
You finally fell
You finally fell
Under the weight of it all
You finally knew
You figured out

Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to

Riding rails meant so much more
When we knew what was in store
Leave me to my thoughts

But now those trips they bring me nothing
Empty feelings till I know when
I will wake up

I know its hard to believe in
That what we suffer can bring us
Closer and closer till we touch

Colliding in the sky above
Send me letters in your name
Until I see your face again

Under the pressure
You finally fell
You finally fell
Under the weight of it all
You finally knew
You figured out

Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to
Too far
To run away to
Track Name: Answers
When the answers are so tired
I'm asking myself
How much
Do you stay around for me
When I see you only every
Now and then

Even if I stay
I look my own way
No amount can fix this
So lay and remember

Used to call when I was awake
Used to call even when I'd say
Don't talk

Used to call when I was awake
Used to call even when I'd say
Don't talk

I began to see no lines
No reasons for hell
When it all can fall apart
and be
Up and alive
Deceiving me
For now and then

Lying awake
I've become ok
Somehow I'll fix this
So lay and remember

Used to call when I was awake
Used to call even when I'd say
Don't talk

Used to call when I was awake
Used to call even when I'd say
Don't

Lying awake on the floor
The same place I was pulled up before
The empty coals
Burning whole
Buildings down
Houses down
The making of this every night
I was aware of how naked when I tried to fight
To the point where

What happened to you
What happened to you
What happened to you
What happened to you
Track Name: Soil and Sky
What it is that you need
The strength to just
Break away

The weight of all
These words
Lay you head into the earth

But stop now and look above
The clouds form a picture torn

From the memories you had
Put away for another day

Your fingers seem to grab at
Every single chance you get to
To just pull
Yourself up

The glass tips and falls
From the force of your grace
As you pass on

But hold on and calm yourself
The room spins as fast as you

And you lay down close your eyes
You wake up realize

Your fingers seem to grab at
Every single chance you get to
To just pull
Yourself up

The glass tips and falls
From the force of your grace
As you pass on
Track Name: Moon
You gave me away
I swore I would stay
No bullshit

You silently exclaimed
The answers to this pain
lies within

And now
I feel shameful

And now
This is everything

Because now I just brace myself
And Now I just save myself
too soon

Its telephone sadness
Or estranged actress
As you choose

Who you go back with
The days when you practiced
Who you'd lose

And the clouds
Or whatever hangs above

Your head
Lie low instead

Because now I just brace myself
And now I just save myself

The moon
Is full

The moon
Is full

like I know I do too much
I always get too worked up
And I know I don't try enough
I always get myself fucked up
And I know I shouldn't give up
I never knew you felt this way
Well I knew, and I should've spoke up
I never know when enough is enough

And now
You've encased yourself
And now
You've erased yourself
Too soon
Too soon
Too soon
Too
Track Name: Isolation Days
I leave a lot of my self in
Echoes of wars I'll never win
My hair and all my skin
Shed loose like shell casings
Im replaced again

The surface still allows
The famine to go on
The surface still allows
Countless days lost in song
My purpose to disavow my past
I cant move on

And I'll never see the end
Go no where
Looking for somewhere to spend
Time away
All the errors that you've known

Where in it all
Are we meant to stay
Take all my breath
Take it all away

No air, know how
The only signal sounds
Through days and years
Time moves away
And all the ants stare at the pillar
Track Name: Replace Me
Will I see you again
That's not to say
I'm hoping this ends
I just wont remain
I just won't remain

Encase me
I will not escape
Retrace me
My own line is
Fading

I will face my fears
I have not slept in years
My here and now
Is lost and found

I am the legend of the same
My own obsession with the grave
You only call my name for now

And Now
Its how it goes
That sound
You seem to know

Its me
Standing
Knowing without holding my hand

You seem to always know
That someone will go
The way you run right in
Run right in
Left your whole mess behind

You need me to know
That you have to go
The way you run right in
Run right in
Left your whole mess behind
Track Name: Simple
I took the train
Back to its resting position
Though small in frame
My fevered will in a flurry

Passes me by
In the days
In the places
In the people

They keep going

I felt insane
The whole world was an ink well

The page remains
No words strong enough to say

And If I feel it too can you answer me again
And If I feel im in two, can you put your hands on me again
And If I feel its too soon can you slip right back into my head

and I'd like to know
What makes it so
Simple

Your aching name
Placed upon you at a young age

The way we came
From settling to forgetting what

we settled for
No explanation
No more problems

When asnwered for
You started looking outward

Either your bedroom floor
Or entirely southward

And If I feel it too can you answer me again
And If I feel im in two, can you put your hands on me again
And If I feel its too soon can you slip right back into my head

I'd like to know
What makes It so
Simple
Track Name: Patterns on Purpose
Destined to create
Embracing nature's love of fate

Painting an abstract scene
Cascades of orange and green

Trauma
From acidic rain

Patterns
Are your only escape

Trauma from acidic rain
Patterns
Are your only escape
